Privacy & data
Plain-English summary. Audiogram is a free hearing screening tool.
Stays on your device
Your test results, history, optional name and settings are kept in your own browser. Room-noise audio is analysed on your device and is never recorded or uploaded. You can delete everything from the History tab.
Stored online only if you choose
- Private link to your graph: if you tick that box, your thresholds, headphone model, noise-check result and test date are stored so an audiologist can open the link. If you also consent, your name and date of birth are stored with it. Anyone with the link can see it; you can delete it at any time from the same screen.
- Your email address: only if you tick the consent box. We store the address, the date you finished a screening and the time you agreed, to contact you about hearing screening.
- Anonymous counter: a total number of completed tests, using a one-way hash with no name or email.
What we do not do
No ads, no advertising or tracking cookies, no selling or sharing of data, no payment details.
Audiologists
Audiologists sign in with an emailed one-time code. Their name, clinic, registration number and email are used only to check and approve their registration.
Deletion & contact
The quickest way is built in: every saved result and shared link has its own Delete button, and nothing about your hearing results is kept by us unless you choose to share it.
You can ask for your email address, shared link or any other stored data to be deleted at any time.
